I arrived in Coonawarra late, after a long drive, and this was the only winery still open for tasting. When I tried the wild Goat, I found it excellent and well priced, but thought I might just be over-estimating it, since it was my first tasting in the area. 2 weeks later, I had another chance to try it, following plenty of other lovely wines in between. My initial assessment held up. There is a lot going on in this bottle. Delicious!

I admit I'm spoilt, for Shiraz, but the Coonawarra has once again proven why it's going to give the Barossa a run for its money in the Shiraz stakes. This Shiraz is perfumed, fruity, mouth puckeringly stellar. Rocked my socks off and I can't wait to open it with my family for my 40th birthday alongside my other favourites. This is going to be an all time favourite. Thanks!
