The Kid Voted Number 3
wine in South Australia!
Raidis Estate's 'The Kid' 2011 Riesling was voted the Number 3 wine in South Australia by 'The Adelaide Review'.
A panel of 15 judges, both local and from interstate and coordinated by James Erskine, revealed 'The Adelaide Review Hot 100 South Australian Wines'.
We were in Adelaide to receive the award on Thursday 27th of October and are thrilled 'The Kid' was voted the top Riesling in South Australia, and the third hottest wine in the state.
'The Adelaide Review' described 'The Kid' in their latest edition to have "superb aromatics that offer up a feast of alpine herbs, wild flowers and lightly spiced tropical fruits. The palate is neatly packed, linear, with a stripe of racy acidity that finishes talcy and soft. Intriguing."
We could not agree more!

in the Top 100 Australian Wines
We are excited to share that our 2009 'Billy' Cabernet Sauvignon is in the Top 100 Australian Wines by News Limited National wine editor Tony Love.
Rated 94 points: "This tiny producer has crafted a classic Coonawarra statement here: pure purple to black fruits, a dash of mint and dark chocolate with underlying oak tones. While the structural elements of the variety are in place, the fruit remains vibrant, sweetly lifted and totally attractive to swish down.
